At Bloom Counseling, we firmly believe that all things find their ultimate purpose in Jesus Christ, as He is the Creator and the fulfillment of our faith. Colossians 1:16-17 tells us, “For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible… all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” This profound truth reminds us that Jesus is the source of all life and the one in whom everything finds its purpose. Hebrews 12:2 further emphasizes that Jesus is the “author and perfecter of our faith,” guiding us toward spiritual maturity and wholeness through His example and sacrifice.
We have seen the most profound transformation in therapy when it is led by the Holy Spirit, who is our Healer, Deliverer, Counselor, and Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 prophesies that Jesus would be the “Prince of Peace,” offering peace that surpasses understanding. The Holy Spirit, as described in John 14:26, is our “Comforter,” teaching us, reminding us of God’s truth, and guiding us toward healing. We have witnessed narratives powerfully redeemed, and deep wounds healed when individuals embrace the truth of God’s love, just as John 8:32 declares, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Through the Holy Spirit’s work, individuals experience the transformative power of God’s love.
We believe that complete freedom is possible through faith in Jesus Christ and the transformative love of the Father, revealed to us through the Holy Spirit. As Romans 5:5 states, “God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” This love brings freedom from the chains of sin and pain, offering true healing and transformation.
Jesus came not for those who think they have it all together, but for those who recognize their need for Him. In Mark 2:17, Jesus says, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” He came to offer healing to the brokenhearted and to bring hope to those who are desperate for help. This truth offers hope to all who are struggling, knowing that Jesus meets us in our weakness and offers His strength.
At Bloom Counseling, we work with individuals who have been hurt by religion and recognize that there is a difference between religion and a true relationship with Jesus. Jesus desires a personal, intimate relationship with each of us, as Revelation 3:20 tells us, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” Our goal is to help clients experience the transformative love of Jesus, rather than mere religious rituals.
Our main pursuit is to help individuals become free to love and be loved, as Galatians 5:13 encourages us: “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” This freedom in Christ allows us to live authentically, heal deeply, and build meaningful, loving relationships.
